Appeal to Support CIF Charity Raffle for Children of Fallen Heroes
Hello friends. Once again, we are connecting when things are looking good, on the overall Covid-19 situation as well as the summer temperatures! Let’s hope both remain in the tolerable range in the near future.
This month, I want to say, right off the bat, that we need your support for a cause that we are very excited about. CIF has launched an exclusive fund to aid the children of fallen soldiers in India and Canada who may want to pursue higher education in Canada but is unable to do so because of their financial situation.
The 6th annual charity golf tournament organized by Canada India Foundation in support of families of Fallen Heroes in Canada and India are set for tee-off on August 25, 2021, at the Royal Ontario Golf Club, Hornby, ON. The tournament will observe all the Covid-19 protocols in force at the time.
As usual, the support for this noble cause has been excellent with foursomes already fully sold out! The CIF charity golf has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in the past for designated causes, thanks to the active participation by the CIF members, well-wishers, and supporters.
We seek your support and full participation this year as well to help support the new initiative. We would like to request you to please be part of this noble cause and book your raffle tickets in advance.(Read more)
