CMEDIA: Diwali Mela, known as the Festival of Lights, was hosted by Arya Samaj Mandir, Markham on 28th, 2023, from 3:30 pm — 8:00 pm and was attended by a crowd of 400!

Present in this event were Hon. Paul Chaing M.P., Logan Kanapathi MPP and Deputy Mayor of Markham, Michael Chan.

The event featured food stalls, cultural events, mehendi, diwali shopping, networking opportunities and live entertainment by Bollywood Ki Dhun (BKD), founded by Rajan Sharma.

Several singers and performers from Bollywood Ki Dhun showcased their talent at this event. The event started with a bhajan titled “Jyot se Jyot Jagate Chalo”.

This was followed by a wonderful rendition of “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” by Sumita Aurora.

A beautiful South Indian dance was performed by Harshini Kengeswaran and Genelia Nadrajah.

The event continued with performances by Bollywood Ki Dhun Director, Rohan Kapoor who sang “Kesariya” and continued with Vaibhav Bhambra who sang “Likhe Jo Khat Tujhe”.

Shwayta Sharma, lead singer of BKD sang Mein Tenu Samjawana Ki.
