IS WAR IN OUR GENES? HUMAN WAR ONLY 6,000 OLD, SAYS NEW BOOK

No evidence of warriors anywhere on Earth before 4000 BC

Toronto, January 7, 2019: Most people assume humans are genetically programmed to kill and have fought wars over land and resources for as long as humans have walked the Earth. But that assumption is wrong, according to a widely-praised book.

Humanity: The World Before Religion, War & Inequality, the new book by Pulitzer Prize-nominated Canadian journalist Barry Brown, shows how human culture spread worldwide through friendly trade and shared languages for 3 million years before the First War.

How do we know this? There are no war weapons found among 3 million years of Stone Age tools, and no images of human conflict anywhere on Earth in the cave paintings that were humanity’s Facebook pages for 30,000 years.

So when and where was the First War?

According to Brown, the World’s First War was a horrific clash between Ancient India’s Royal Families that destroyed their kingdoms and inspired the Biblical tale of Eden.

HUMANITY argues the 6,000 year old story of Eden and Ancient India’s tale of its Kurukshetra War both recall “the destruction of ‘Generation Eden’ and the world before war,” says Brown.

The end of Ancient India’s history and the beginning of Jewish history flows through the Indo-Afro-European people known as the Hebrews.

“The word ‘Hebrew’ means “homeless wanderers from the East” and refers to a period of extreme climate change that forced the Biblical characters of Noah and his followers to abandon their Indus Valley homeland for the Middle East and Northeast Africa around 2000 BC.
